I'm going to look at one in Seattle today. If anyone is on the fence about selling theirs, just wanted to give a last chance before I empty my checking account.

Blue 03 with a bad VNT17 (with supporting mods).

I bought an 05 wagon with 130k, 5 speed. 8/10 for 4800. So that much. VNT17 is the transmission code?

VNT17 is a type of turbo that bolts on to 99.5-2005 MK4 TDI's. Your 05 likely has a Borg Warner KP39.

Run it hard occasionally and make sure the turbo gets good and hot occasionally. Also make sure to let your car idle down if you just come off the highway for a minute or so prior to shutdown...
