It's now at $2.77 and there's still no sticker on the pump other than the #2 diesel sticker.El Dobro said:The Gulf by me just went from $2.81 to $2.79.

On the NY Mercantile Exchange, unleaded regular is now almost 30 cents/gallon more than home heating oil. That equates to about 20 cents/gallon more than #2 diesel at the pump. And even with regional supply variations, in almost no part of the country should diesel cost more than unleaded regular.Thunderstruck said:The good news I saw tonight was that now diesel and gas are priced the same. The bad is that it's because gas has gone up, not because diesel has gone down.
$2.85 yesterday at a Shell in downtown Minneapolis. A number of stations in the Twin Cities area were charging $3.09 for gasoline. At a Conoco in Hinckley, MN yesterday: $2.99 for unleaded, $3.05 for diesel.DezlDad said:Just to update this after the holiday weekend and since I just got back from my 1600 mile round trip to Baltimore.

2.75 at Chevron in Warfield, VA, on 7/1
2.96 at Shell in Archdale, NC, on 7/5
I noticed that a lot of places are charging .06 more for credit vs cash, but just on diesel, not gas. Anyone know what that's all about? I thought it wasn't legal to do that anymore.
BTW, I averaged 49.987 mpg on the trip, and that includes some nasty stop-and-go traffic in Atlanta and D.C.
