VW doesn't put out updates so it's all on you. Most people get them from Peter I believe.

If you have a 2014 it's probably up to date. Press and hold setup then select version.

I have:
H21 hardware
I think it is a J version
SW 4369
Map 3963
However the map version indicates 2012 map. ON 2014?? BS
and nothing actually works poperly except the RADIO!!

I have the update you need for your version J. Your map version is 7963. There have been four updates since that one I believe.

Does the "J" there indicate a J unit? It also says HW H21

I just downloaded it and it looks good. (mounted it and looked at the layout)
What is the procedure to do the update?
Why doesnt the DEALER do this?
