Headlight levelling switch not working

Hi
I have a B7 Passat 1.6 Tdi estate
The headlight levelling switch is not working and the lights are aiming 4 feet away from the front bumper
I cannot find the motors on the headlights and no info anywhere
My aim ( no pun ) intended lol was to make sure there was power at the motors
Any help would be much appreciated

The adjustment motors are inside the headlight.

Did this just happen out of the blue?

Any recent service on the car (any reason it was on a lift?)

Hi fixmy59 bug

Just purchased car in uk
Have a “Haynes workshop Manual “ ( These Manuals in the Uk are for the DIY mechanic) on the fuse list near drivers door
no5 fuse list the levelling left and right motors 10 amp .But mine has a 5 amp fuse not brave enough to change a different amperage

I know the motors are inside the headlight case but not exactly where everywhere I ask only tell me how to change headlight bulbs not where the motors are located

With reference to the above

Asked a guy in our local supermarket in the same car as mine
IF I could look at his fuse box on his B7
CHEEKY I KNOW

He willingly agreed and it turned out I was a fuse missing
Although my Haynes DIY book did not show one there

So all Good
