Maybe you could drive a US legal car to him, fly home, fly back, and drive the swapped car home?
Seriously. Someone set up a 'passat wagon' VIN exchange. Swap dashes call it a day. I can't think of the last time my car was ever inspected. YEah they read the VIN to get plates and that was it.
Yes officer. I painted the car. And put a diesel engine in it. And leather seats. And quattro. But other than that it's all OEM!

As far as the B5.x is concerned, 4Motion = quattro; it's just semantics. Nice car though. It's quite apparent you do this as a business. You need to register as a vendor. GLWS.

Drive train is out of audi a4 Quattro. and form for vendor was faxed few months ago!!!
