Code P0726 - generic engine speed sensor just threw

I couldn't start the engine today. Battery voltage was low after trying. I hadn't driven it in a few days. I bought a charger and charged the battery. Finally got the engine to start....

CEL came on. Scangauge says code P0726. Googled it and it is apparently Generic engine speed sensor. I have no idea what this means. I am I good to drive it to DCB? How serious is this? Should I just try and clear the code and see if it comes back?

just clear it , it was because of extended cranking without firing.No big deal really.

I just got this code too. In addition, my glow plug light came on, oil light was flashing, and the traction control light was on. Once I restarted, and cleared the engine light, all seems good.

Sounds like it is no big deal though?
