Mk4 injection pump

Currently in an 03 Jetta tdi, I have a bad injection pump and need to replace it, car won’t stay running when I start to drive; question is.... what special tools do I need to buy in order to change it myself i have a guy who is a tdi mechanic that will do it for 25 an hr for a grand total of 150 plus my motor mounts for 200.... but I want to know what special tools I need to just do it myself I have all the basic stuff already

You might as well do a TB while you're at it.
Post this on the MKIV forum and start reading up on the procedure.
At least call DFIS in Portland and get a quote for a IP repair before you buy.

for that price you should pay your guy to do it.
