PSA: remove that TDI insignia !

Every other day there's another story in NYT/WaPo covfefe how diesel pollutions "have killed" (tens of) thousands of ppl.

You park your baby at a wrong place at a wrong time, come back to keyed car. Or have your tires slashed etc.

Play it safe. Dont look for no trouble. Remove those 3 letters !

I have already removed the TDI from my baby...and replaced it with a EcoGreen-SkyActive-Hybrid-Full Electric-Running on Unicorn Tears badge.

Yeah remove 47 MPG's... You know about double what most cars get.

I have been debating removing the badge for that very reason.

But I have to figure the average Canadian is more polite than that.

I have, personally, just saved a BB TDI from crushers. So my TDI MPGs have only improved.

The post is simply about not looking for trouble, removing just the 3 letters on trunk

Yes it will. No different than the R sticker on a Honda that gives you more horsepower.
