2006 Jetta front wheel bearing hub replacement issue

I have all bolts off but the bearings broke off while trying to remove the hub I have used penetrating fluid to try and loosen it up but it’s not budging is their a tool that could help me loosen this hub

That happens often when removing the hub. Your going to either use/rent a tool like this;


Or pull off the knuckle and have someone who has a press remove the old bearing

Your going to need the proper tools to do this job

There are a ton of diy’s out there on how to do this job. Good luck!

I think I installed the bolts in the opposite direction and evenly pounded them out. Mine had 220K miles and it did not stick too hard

Depending on how much your time is worth to you, it might be simpler to just buy and install a replacement steering knuckle.
