do I put a tool on the nut that is in the lower center and twist to get the belt off? 1.9 tdi diesel 700hrs 2004

2002 Golf GLS Malone Stage 3, P+520 nozzles, 11MM Inj pump, Sachs VR6 clutch, Stelth Race Pipe, Immo Deleat, EGR Deleat
Use a 16-MM box end combination wrench.
Rotate "Clock-Wise" to release the tensioner and slide the serpentine belt off of the rollers.
Keep in mind that this is not the standard serpentine belt.
You're not running power steering or A/C .

That's not bad. I just paid $50 CDN for mine...shredded on the highway. Found strands in the ps pulley and tensioner. All is well again.
