Mintex Red Box. Audi/VW us stock pads are relatively soft and dusty. My'97 A4 1.8TQM had a horrible wet stopping problem. The Mintexes eliminated that malfunction and produce little dust. Even Ric W. put them on and is pleased with them.

stock pads are relativly dsty? GIMME A BREAK! the stock pads are horrible. also, VW rotors have only 1mm of meat to spare, I have seen the rotors at the minimum thickness right along with the first set of pads wearing out. I have seen quite a few customers (usually kids with GTI-VR6) come to the dealer to get EBC kevlar pads installed.(www.ebc-brakes.com) They are dust-free and easy on the rotors. I also believe they stop better than the already strong factory pads.
