307,000 on my '06 Jetta. Temporarily sidelined by a rodent induced wire harness break causing a loss of power steering. Just need to find the time to splice it. Replaced as a daily driver last week by a Volvo S60.

Nothing major has ever gone wrong. Due for timing belt change in 1,000. I did one on my MK3, but I see the MK4 is harder to do. Not sure if I can do it without a car lift? I'll have to review some instructions/videos.
Just replaced MAF...lots more power! Recently cleaned intake, changed vacuum hoses, fuel filter, cleaned out actuator, and turbo, replaced seals on vacuum pump (which stealership said couldn't be done). I do need shocks/struts and all the bushings, etc for front suspension. Sigh. Lots to do but only because I haven't had a place or $ to keep up with general maintenance as needed. But I believe the timing belt should take priority. And I'm going to do it--this car has been so reliable!

I've been absent from tdi club for about 10 years and I just bought a 2002 jetta with about 546,000km or 339,000 miles. So far so good. I have many miles left in it.

I also have not been back on the TDI club for quite awhile. My 03 Jetta is now at 350,000 miles and still going strong. I will have to move the wife's Jetta over to the 400,000 mile thread as just this year her's has gone over 411,000 miles. Both 03 Jetta TDI's.

Just ticked over 300K miles!

Just ticked over 300K miles!
2003 Silver Jetta TDI GLS wagon with grey leather interior. EGR delete, Rocket Chip Stage 2 tune, original injectors and pump and turbo, 3rd timing belt, manual trans was rebuilt at 214k, Frostheater, Bosal detachable hitch, Ventectomy, and RCN210 Bluetooth radio.
Despite the age, I'm still getting fantastic fuel economy. My average since owning the car over 2 years and 45K miles is 54.61MPG. My best tank was 1025 miles on 16.125gal = 63.57MPG. I got a ScanGauge II about a year ago and with careful driving, I have increased my average fuel economy by 16%!
Future plans: 5 to 6-speed conversion, driver side rocker panel rust needs to be tackled ASAP(already did passenger side), the headliner is sagging, got a phantom blinker relay, and gasket on the vacuum pump leaks some oil.

MakerJ101 wow, that is fantastic mileage. 1000 miles out of a tank? I am truly impressed.

Thank you NewTdi! If only I had the tank that came on the MK3 Passat TDI Wagon... 18.5 gallons! That'd be over 1100 miles! Although the MK3 TDIs weren't nearly as efficient.

Not sure if this is the "official" TDI Forum 300,000 mile reporting thread, but happy to report here that I passed 300,000 miles this morning. Bought new in 2005, still runs and drives like new (though it's taken work to keep it this way over the years...). On to 400,000!

Just hit 300,000 miles today with my 2010 Jetta TDI. The car has been the best one I have ever owned. It has given me no trouble at all during the long 300K journey. It still delivers impressive fuel efficiency while maintaining the same performance and driving dynamics as the day I bought it in Nov 2010.

My 19-year-old son is driving it now, and all of his friends are also surprised by how nice it looks and drives, given the age and mileage of the car.
