Ok, so I don't think the seat module was causing my passenger seat recline adjustment to not work. On the bright side my memory seems to work properly...

Should've checked this earlier bit I checked for voltage and I'm getting 12.45 VDC at the plug connecting to the motor. Pretty confident the motor is the culprit.

Never mind! It's the switch!

I went back to take some more readings to confirm my findings. I applied pressure in just the right way on the pcb, near the solder joint I suppose,and vuala! Movement!

So looks like I'll try and repair the switch or order a new one.

It's the solder joint on the pcb. My probe basically completed the circuit mid test.

3B0959766 should be the button module for the passenger seat. Looks like the eBay price range is around $25-35.

I soldered it. It's messy but it'll work for now. When/if it fails I'll pick up another switch but it should be good.
