VAG Ordered to Buy Back Cars in Germany

I guess the gift that keeps on giving is still lingering. A German Court ordered VAG to buy back another 260,000 plus cars.

They are only buying back the 60K vehicles of owners that opted out of the February German settlement offer.

To the 240k owners who accepted the February settlement, all they got was a single payment between $1500 and $6800 (and no buyback of their vehicle)

Last month, it reached a settlement with 240,000 drivers in Germany, who had sued VW in the country’s largest collective lawsuit. They will receive between €1,350 and €6,250 each, as part of a €750m payout.
