Default 2000 VW TDI Beetle in DE with 215,000 miles $2999 OBO

Ran across this posting on crazed list. I spoke with the guy and he seems on the up and up. After talking with wifey it would have been on ongoing sales job to keep this bug. I have not driven it.

here are some pics:

Here is the original post
2,999.00 or Best Offer
Up for sale is a 2000 VW TDI Beetle with 215,000 miles. The diesel engine runs smooth and the car has had a lot of work put into it includingall work done within last 60,000 miles
new injector pump
new alternator
new front end
new injectors
timing belt and water pump done at 180,000 miles with a 100,000 mile belt
new injectors done when pump was changed
diesel tank cleaned when injector pump was replaced
new glow plugs
tagged until May 2010

Now for the bad and that is that the front grill has a crack in it and the exhaust needs work. I was quoted 700.00 for a new exhaust but I no longer need two cars and this one has to go.

Due to spam no emails please.
