Repairing passenger seat foam and I want to repair heating wires also. What cloth should I use to cover exposed wires? Should it be some specific material? Thank you.

Bump!
I covered the wires with piece of cotton t-shirt, bonded two cloth pieces with Victor Reinz gasket sealing compound which is +300°C temp.resistant. We'll see what would happen when time comes up.

yes. go to amazon and buy a kit, go with the ceramic mat vs just the coils. Easy as 1.2.3 while you have the seat out. best $80 i ever spent, but dont cheap out on the pads, i did at first and they dont last long. Also put a tiny cut out where the heat sensor on the pad goes in the foam otherwise you get a bump in the seat and if its not fabric it will end up wearing a spot on the leather. trust me here!
