Just picked up a 2015 Passat

My wife and I just picked up a 2015 Passat TDI SEL Premium. Has 5500 miles! Yup....you read that right. 5500 miles. This is probably my third or fourth TDI over the years. We are so excited.

I had the same thing on my 2015 Passat TDI SEL Premium and the dealer fixed it for free. They said it is a known problem, the urea leaking there. Not sure if there is a bulletin out on this or not.

That's the DEF injector that is leaking. Although, your leak appears to be very minor compared to others I have seen here and on my car. If your car has any sort of warranty (dealer or emissions related), you should be covered. They will need to replace two parts: the line, and the injector itself.

Always a good idea to keep an eye on it every time you pop the hood.
