So this car has a new annoying problem. I set the locks on the doors to unlock when the key is removed from the ignition. For the past few months it's been doing just that, and it's sooo much nicer to be able to get out of the car and get something out of the back seat without having to open the driver's door again and find the button and press it. Our other VW has us trained to not expect the doors to be locked when we get out of the car.
Anyway, now there's an added bonus!
When I remove the key all the doors unlock PLUS the trunk! Which of course does NOT lock itself again when you start driving!
Last I checked, the trunk lid is not even on the VCDS menu. Or am I missing something?
It's actually worse than the doors being locked because now you drive, stop, get out, and slam the trunk shut before continuing on your (once merry) way.
