I just got a set of TT bushings for the 04 and will be pressing them into the spare used LCA's I have.
What is the proper depth of the install?
Just even on both sides or what?

If I recall correctly, they can only go in on one side of the control arm. Just seat them all of the way in there

Enjoy!

And yes, even

if you don't have an air hammer you can use a vise or hammer and flat chisel. to install use a piece of of old wood to beat it in or a vice.
just wipe the dirt from the control, no sand paper or files.
front bushings are easy with a vice. cut the rubber lip off, then use a socket and the vice to push them out.
for final install, do not tighten the front control arm bushing until the car is resting on the ground(or you'll pre-load the bushing and wear it out faster)

there is a flat side and a tapered side to the hole that the bushing goes in on the LCA.

Press in from the tapered side, and press them till they are flush with the flat side.
