Hey everybody, I went to the wreckers and picked up a replacement CCM as mine is acting up. I found a CCM with the exact same part numbers. I plugged it into the car and now when I hookup the battery and put the key in the ignition and try to turn, the alarm goes off.

I am not sure why this is happening or what would be causing this. I have tried to open the trunk before turning on the car as I've read that it helps get rid of the alarm but no go.

:::edit:::

I do realize I need to re-program my keyfob. I have read the VCDS wiki page:
http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/vw-remote-matching.html

and they state:
"Gather ALL the remotes you would like to match. Insert one key in the ignition and turn it ON"

If I put my key in the ignition and turn it to on, the Alarm will go off.

Any ideas?
Thank you!
