Hopefully I have this posted in the right section of the Forum. I am not a promoter or anything but our club is having a car show and we would like to rally the support of the water cooled owners. We will be having several water cooled classes. We hope some of you can bring your rides out.

Der Luftkühlers (DLK) Vintage VW Club presents the 1st Annual Düb Splash 2012. Come hang out with fellow Volkswagen enthusiasts and show off your Dub JULY 8th 2012. Over 30 classes including both Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled VW's with the BEST trophies in Texas. Düb Splash 2012 is being held at the 1950's Vintage Sandy Lake Amusement Park in Carrollton Texas. Sandy Lake Amusement Park is the perfect venue for a hot summer car show with lots of shade, swimming in the wave pools, paddle boats, and tons of vintage rides. Düb Splash is sure to provide cheap summer entertainment for the entire family!!

Vehicle Registration is FREE to ALL vehicles Preregistered by June 15th. Just click the REGISTRATION link and get signed up! Preregistration after June 15th is $10. Registration at the show is $15. The park charges $2 per person admission to enter the gates. ***ALL PRE-REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR A SPECIAL METAL ART PLAQUE***

Gates open at 9:30am and judging begins at 11:00am sharp. The awards ceremony will be held at 3:30pm in pavilion #5.

Just in case you didn't know, DLK makes AWESOME trophies and you can bet Dub Splash 2012 will have some nice ones!!

Check out the two trophies DLK gave away at the Texas VW Classic this year!!! One went to the Club Choice car and the other to Dean Kirsten of Hot VW's for faithfully supporting and reporting on the Texas VW scene. These bad boys are made from quarter inch steel plate :shock: :shock:
