New to TDIClub - Anyone in Pittsburgh area?
I'm interested in finding out about any TDI resources in the Pittsburgh Area or east of Pittsburgh near Somerset, PA. I recently bought a 2002 VW Jetta TDI (137,000 miles) and need to talk with some savvy mechanics about replacing a valve body, timing belt and water pump. Thanks!

Looking for gurus - thanks for the clarification
The tranny is a 01M automatic. I did have it checked and the service shop said it was throwing an N92 code - open circuit. They recommended replacing the valve body for $1900, but I am hoping to come in way less than that.

Between New Ken, Monroeville, Greensburg, and Indiana.
A suburb of Apollo.
Berkebile oil in Somerset is one of my old customers. I'm about an hour from the Somerset TP exit.

Timing belt and Valve Body work
Thanks for any leads on these repairs, davebugs ... I'm needing to get the work done reasonably, because I'm realizing I paid too much for the Jetta ($6500) since it is needing this much work immediately. At least it's a Florida body, so not a lick of rust at this point Many years of life left ...

I know the general area. Have a good friend down in West Newton, so we trek all around that area.
