Wheel locks '9'
So I took car in last Fall to have warranty fender replacement. Body shop called looking for wheel lock adapter; I told them it was in the armrest. I spent 2 hours looking for it last night until I remembered the call from the autobody shop. They don't have it...anyone loan me one of these on PEI?
Has a 9 (or a 6) stamped on it.

I was about to get rid of my security bolts, can't see anyone stealing my wheels in Nova Scotia. Too much of a worry (to me) for the knucklehead who misplaces it....
I might be able to mail it to you in about a week? Not sure if it has a 9 or 6 on it. Does VW have more than one security lug?

there's more than one, maybe 10? or so. The dealer has a kit to determine which one it is.

I may have one... but I'm quite far away. Got ride of my security lugs a couple years back.

There is a master set out there...depending on where you buy it, it's ~$100.
Maybe call around to some local VW/Audi shops to see if one of the techs happens to own it. I'm sure most VW dealers will have the set as well.

Hey everyone, I've been away and am coming home to warm temps and winter wheels. I think I'll take ve99's advice and bin the silly things. Don't have a welder, I'll try to wedge something in there. Where (other than VW) can I get replacement bolts?

dealer swapped them out for me and provided some new (non-security) bolts. Props to the dealer!
