Fuel Economy: Is just one piece of the puzzle that is our bottomless appetite for oil. Cars don’t have to be consumable. Instead of throwing them away, we can rebuild them, better. We have the technology.

Too bad i missed it. Idk why anyone is giving this guy crap
One of the few people actually doing anything for the tdi market. Appearing in a magazine here and there, talking to the truck community, radio shows. Actually participating in any event not specific to tdis (and there are others doing this aswell)
I mean performance tdi exposure is a good thing. Bring more people, consumers, builders, suppliers etc to the market.
If you dont like his m.o. then ignore but this recent trend on the club where people are bashing, turning their nose up, and making "noob" comments is just rediculous. The fanboy, anti-outsider bs is what makes people hate prius drivers.
End rant. How did the radio show go Greg?

Ben,
Please take the time to read all of his posts. He actually came here and asked for help and was received with open arms. He then posted that he had taken our information and entered a race (where we thought he was representing US, the TDI community) and as a result he posted that HE HAD BEATEN all of us..... what the hell? He was OUR entry. How does our own entry beat us? It turns out that Greggles is a laughing stock on several forums... and has burned many bridges in his pursuit of fame on the backs of others.
Anyway, you won't be getting an answer any time soon from him, he was awarded 6 months off from the forum for having more than one screen name.... and YES, he knew that was against the rules.
Newbies and 'outsiders'(WTH?) are welcome here AFAIAC. Anyone that seeks personal gain at the expense of those who don't know any better that to follow bad advice are not.
Bill

If you omit pertinent info from your question, you cannot reasonably expect a good answer.//Not affiliated with any vendors except as a customer.// Wise people lurk more.// I'm not a guru.// 'I got actual real friends in the real world'-T'sTDI/ If you were the only entry, there wasn't a race.// Grammar and spelling really are important, but I don't claim to be good at it.// Typical drivers can't.

I won't think "greg" has multiple screen names. What Greg has is a multiple personality disorder. One of his personalities includes a female porn star. See beckystar on yellowbullet.com

The other day I went to the website to listen to the show podcast, which gave rise to more questions than answers. So here are some questions for Gregie to answer in 6 months when his time-out on this forum is over. I am posting them now so that he has 6 months to work out the answers:
What is your favorite supercar?
What chemicals and cleaning products do you prefer to wipe cars down with?
Does it matter whether they're supercars or normal cars?
What is your favorite menu item from Sonic, and when is the last time you saw your friend Gale Banks?
Did you ever get any Sonic burgers for Gale Banks, and was that before or after you parted company as their driver?
What do you think of Sonic's shakes in comparison to their chillers, slushes, floats, and blasts?
What is the difference between ‘motor-cross’ racing and ‘moto-cross’ racing, and how ready is Jordan to race?
Back in the late ‘70’s (remember them???) my late cousin used to moto-cross or desert race 50 weeks a year. But, as part of the ‘pit crew’, we saw this as a long sequence of blotto party opportunities, not just mere race events. Since you've said she was a former moto-cross racer, how do you keep Jordan reigned in so that the partying doesn’t get out of control?
If Jordan got herself a personal trainer, lost 5 lbs. and worked on her upper body strength, she could become a competitive jockey. Aren’t you worried about losing her to another sport with potentially more perks?
Your Beetle makes 400 Horse Power? You’re kidding. Where are the dyno sheets posted?
400 Horse Power? Unless you’re talking about Charlie hand holding the nitrous nozzle into the intake while the pull is being made -- like he did with Rich's Beetle -- that’s going to be 600–700 foot pounds of peak torque, no matter who wrote the tune. You can only run a mid 13 quarter with that? I would think 11’s would be reasonable. Something is wrong here, and my head is starting to spin.
If anyone else here has listened to the podcast and noticed that I’ve missed any questions or pertinent points, please feel free to post them up or correct me post haste.
Thank you.

My favorite was (not an exact quote, but more/less) "The smoke that diesels make is not pollution, it's particulate that is really not harmful"
On one hand I'm glad that someone is out there publicly pushing the limits and getting some publicity and promoting diesel cars and performance. (there's plenty of people here pushing the limits, but with very little recognition outside of our little world)
On the other hand I'm not fond of his style and approach - lots of name dropping, quite a bit of "stretching the truth", etc (but then again, I'm not out there doing this either so who am I to judge ?)
