You gained about 1,800 feet in elevation and you also most likely had a head wind (possibly a pretty good one!).

Tim:
Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware that we gained that kind of altitude on that section of the trip. Those wide open spaces and interstate grades (outside the mountainous regions that is) sure can fool you sometimes. I was thinking that Graycie's bits and pieces took a day or two to "work in" after leaving the sedate driving requirements of the Chicago area. I think her turbo got plenty of exercise on this trip, as well as the trans, suspension, clutch, brakes, etc...

May be the final version!

I have added a bunch more images to the posts and may actually be done tweaking this thread. Take a look and post up any questions or comments you might have. Since our return home it has been HOT and HUMID here in the Chicago Area. Sure could use some of those cool breezes we felt on the west coast such a short time ago.

Cool pix. It sounds like it was a great trip. I told you that you'd be shocked when you got back to the hot weather.

Mods so far:
Coolant migration mod, Ventectomy, Kerma line pressure mod, Euro headlight switch, Modded relay DRL disable
Nokian I3 205/55/16 tires for summer
I can't believe how much crap I can fit in this thing.
The US has lost about 2.2 MILLION jobs since the governement pissed away nearly a trillion dollars with the so-called "ecconomic stimulus" bill.
Can we start blaming the Democrats for our mess, now?
