I just bought both at Walmart..... small bottle of the classic Rain-X you apply direct to the window. I also bought for well under $3.00 a gallon of Rain-X windshield washer reservoir fluid "2 in 1". It is ORANGE in color so be sure not to mix it with your antifreeze (which is ORANGE I have been told).
I treated the window with the classic (clean, apply, haze, remove), BUT I may not use the fluid and return it. First my reservoir is full with new clean blue stuff (my car is still newish). May be double dipping Rain-X might be over kill. I read amazon and other reviews on retailer sites; it got good ratings, but some say it leaves some kind of residue and the first application it streaks. However a majority of reviews are positive, +4 out of 5 stars. The idea of using rain-X is in light rain, is so you can drive with out wipers on.....
ANY ONE USE THE FLUID? COMMENTS?
