'03 Golf clutch pedal replacement help

'03 jetta-red,04 jetta,03 jetta wagon,99.5 jetta-all tdi's
Need to remove and replace the clutch pedal assemble, looks fairly straightforward except what is the secret to remove the top 13mm bolt?nut. Thanks foe any help.....:confused:

Have you got less access on your left hand drive cars? Over here you just undo the nut and pop the bolt out. Getting it back in is the awkward part, that spring for the clutch pedal.

I had an aggravating to get to top nut last week .
Finally used a bent screwdriver to push the mechanism down close to the nut and that allowed me to get on the nut with a socket.
