Quick answer NO. 200K on the OD with issues. You can do better I'm sure. The DSG issues have been discussed and they are expensive. IMHO move on..JP

I talked to the owner of this car and it's pretty clear there is a major issue with the DSG- possibly a OEM broken flywheel. Is it worth buying and towing to Jason (GURU) in Madison for a rebuilt DSG ? Would it be worth offering $4500 or less?
I think it is a good question for Jason to answer. Personally, I have little use for automatic transmissions. They are expensive to maintain, waste fuel and they are expensive to replace when they go kerplunk. Are you prepared to handle the worst case scenario of a $5(k) expense in addition to what else could be tooefed on the car?

So, other then speculating on what is wrong, as opposed to what could be wrong, buying it without knowing begs the simple question: Do you feel lucky, well do you? Good luck ...............
