If my current predicament had occurred in Canada, I'd be able to retain
a "solicitor" to bail my car out of impound using power of attorney, who'd
then subcontract a trial lawyer for just my civil charges (I'm sure I can
beat the misdemeanors as done in KY in 2006). Instead, I'm
forced to engineer a DIY title loan (as I'm a non-resident) - however,
none of my friends or acquaintances has yet taken this up (as at the following site):
Thus, I was wondering if any of you could buy (as at the bottom-most link)
my car via Paypal, which has buyer protection, and then lease it back
for me to own. The car has already been in impound for 20 days @ $35 a day.
It's just across the river from Bullhead City Arizona at the impound lot next door to the Laughlin DMV.
My phone is inside the car there w/all my possessions, but I'm still in Vegas to
earn spare cash selling plasma.
I'd hate to abandon it as the engine is still doing well @ 188k. But it does have exterior faults that might detract from the value, and it's due for a timing belt change @ 200k. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in any case for your time. Milton
