Hello all,
I noticed that the manual (02Q) transmission in the mk6 TDI has a quite taller gear ratio. I ran the math and just by changing the final drive to the 2.78 I would be able to do roughly 70MPH at 2,000 RPM. Currently, I am doing ~60MPH at 2,000RPM and this sucks for long road trips.
Would swapping the final drive from a salvaged O2Q work in my transmission? And would a DSG tune be able to account for the gearing change in software?
Thanks,
Curtis
P.S. This is my first time making a thread/post and I am unsure if this is the correct place
