2011 Sportwagon, dealer bought back.
Well its that time. I am looking for a reliable shop in the Dallas area. I don't trust dealers! I think will change the timing belt at 80K also.Ivan

If you're not getting any audible warnings from the TB area, then you should be able to go closer to 100k miles. My Golf TDI needed a new TB before 100k miles, but I had one or perhaps two of the rollers starting to fail. And I could hear the roller bearings starting to grind. Point is, inspect the belt, but if it looks good and sounds good, then you can go longer.

But when the time comes for a new TB, then runonbeer is the man to see in Texas. Whether you live in Dallas or Texarkana or El Paso or McAllen (or OKC).
