I'm quitting my job and going back to graduate school so as a consequence we can't afford 2 car payments. One had to go. We had her '01 2.0 Golf up for sale but as luck would have it, or not, my mechanic called, his daughter totalled her '96 Jetta due to another driver rear ending her and forcing her into oncoming traffic.
He wanted the TDI. Couldn't interest him in the 2.0. Wife really liked the 2.0 better (the wrapper not the engine) thank goodness both of us agree on the TDI. But she likes her ammenities so I struck a deal last nite to sell the TDI.
I've learned a lot here for mine and hers. I also plan to be back with a Passat or Mark V TDI once I finish school with my Ph.D. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
