Mostly around $2.95 here in MA, one station (that's always expensive) is $3.15. RUG is $2.45-$2.75.
I noticed that the North and South Carolina prices have gotten much closer since the new year. Currently, there is about a three cent spread on either side of the state line, at least in the Charlotte area. It used to be around 20 cents or more. I know the SC fuel tax is going up but it's only 2 cents a year over the next five years. It’s up a dime here over the last two days. Now at $2.65 in SC.
It has stayed steady at the casino station around the corner for a few weeks:
$2.999 Diesel; $2.599 for RG
CA, what did you expect?$3.70....
And on a rural Interstate.CA, what did you expect?
... presuming RUG is high also$3.70....
We won't if Jerry gets his way! Maybe we should peg the water price to the cost of diesel? Let LA, San Joaquin Valley, & the Bay Area pay $3.00/gal at the source (Lakes Shasta & Oroville) plus transportation costs. When diesel prices go up, their water price goes up; when diesel prices go down, their water price goes down.My daily driver is a gasser and I haven't paid attention to those prices.
The towns pop. is 1500 with the nearest big town (90,000) 60 miles away
to the south and the next biggest (4100)45 miles north,so we get double
screwed here. But we have all the water
