Here is my current setup which gives me +70MPG.

Mods:

- Rear wheel skirts (aero effect)
- Rear muffler delete (-4.4kg)
- Catalysator delete ( -2.5 kg)
- Towing bar delete (-16 kg)
- Spare tyre and jack delete (-10.8 kg)
- Roof rack and rails delete (aero effect) and (-4.1 kg)
- Rear seats delete (-9.5kg)
- 13" rear aluminium wheels (-4 kg
- Rear tyres Toyo 350 165/70/R13
- 14" front aluminium wheels (-2 kg each) rotational mass effect!
- Front tires Toyo 350 175/80/R14 (ca. 10% taller gearing)
- Tire pressures 50 PSI
- Flat hubcaps (aero effect)
- Smaller sidemirrors (aero effect) and (-2 kg)
- Aero fornt bumber
- Flat engine bay cover
- Tinted windows
- Engine oil Valvoline Syn power III 5w-30
- Transmission oils Mobil 1 VS200
- EGR delete
- Lowering springs 60/40 (aero effect)
- Other small weigth saving inside the car.

I think those are most of the mods done so far, still ahead:

- Glasfibre hood
- Better front bumber
- flat undertray
- sideskirts
- more weigth savings etc.

I think mods make half of the high mpg results driving habits the other half. I use at least these all the time:

- Drive without brakes
- Push and glide
- engine braking
- early gear changes (under 2000 rpm)
- lights off on motorways

Thats the current setup ;).
