I ditto Julie's post. Or pick up some fresh brew and bring it back. We want you guys to be social, but be smart about it:)

I will add that I have absolutely no intention of getting even slightly inebriated. I drink beer for the the taste! A shuttle is still a great idea.

Another brewery

Stoudts brewery in Adamstown PA is a great place for German beer.(30-35 miles from K of P) They have the best pils around. Real German style food as well. I don't know, just a thought...

Stoudt's is nice (and close for me), but you really should try Prima Pils by Victory. It is the best, as voted by two different sources as not only the best pilsner, but the best beer made in America. Try it on tap & I think you'll agree.

This hotel has an awesome party atomsphere, set up in a Quad campus fashion with the pool in the middle.

Well, let me see...since we'll be near all those old cannons and such, it only seems fitting...

Now where did I put that 3 part form that everyone will need to fill out:

I Will Not Sue Fred if I Hurt Myself During Cannonball Event...?;) :D :p

Victory's food is rather good. They have wood-fired pizzas and an exceptional chicken sandwich (among other things). Atmosphere can get a little noisy at times (not boisterous, just loud).

You betcha it is.

Saturday night at 5ish i will be waiting in the lobby. We plan on leaving around 5:40pm to leave in a caravan style. I will be collecting the money for the brewery tour and taste test before we leave, and hand out a map in return for your wonderful cash.

I dont know about you, but i am getting excited.

I will be driving and can fit 3-4 people (not counting myself) depending on the size of the people. If we can carpool it will allow more people to enjoy the wonderful beverages that Victory offers.

I am not sure about a van at this time. I will look into it though.

I am going to this, prefer a DD. Especially being used to other car events where the law is extra alert for vehicles that fit said event description.

not nervous about the samples though, a minor could pass a .02 with that.

I am also up for the idea of going to the other brewerybar next door to us for further tastings.

There's a Rock Bottom in the Mall which is a mile away. Also There is another one named the Sly Fox in Phoenixville,PA about ~8 miles away.

So whats the final word, did we get shuttle for this?

If the general consensus is drink the samples, have dinner (with another sample) then bounce I have no fear in driving (unless PA is different from MD)

I would like to eat there, I want to soak up as much of PA culture as I can, being that I live but one state below.

I would say this is what we envisioned. Though, Kromicacid is leading the Tour so it would be best to talk to him at the Fest.
