Takes a while to cool, somewhat intermittent cooling, occasionally pretty cold air from vents (will check vent temps today). This has been going on a while. Pressures with car warm and air temperature of 68 F were 68 low and 105 high. I'm thinking the frequency valve is failing (RCV). Good idea or should I replace the compressor? Thanks.

I concur with oilhammer on RCV and fan.

My '06 2.5 one of the fans failed, I really only noticed it because the other one ran at full tilt to try to keep up - this was just under 70k miles it went bad.

Here is the follow up. Swapped out the RCV. Filled with less than 2 cans refrigerant (I had two partial cans with hoses on them). I think it takes 19 oz, so I was under that. 68 degrees ambient, Low 33 psi High 135. Blows 40 at the vent. It sure is hard to tell if that circlip is seated. Thanks all.
