I'm looking to have my springs replaced on my 2011 Jetta Sportwagen TDI. I've got 82k miles on it. Any ideas on cost to have a shop replace? Anything else I should have done while I'm having the springs replaced given my mileage?

Eh. I'm tired of my H&R sport springs. Thinking about going back to stock.

BTW I was home in CT over the holiday and was working out at a Crossfit place in New Milford CT. Met a guy name Emerson who sells industrial lubricants and mentioned where I am from (Marshfield). He mentioned you and spoke very highly of you!

If it's who I think it was he works for Total. Nice guy.

Your stuts and shocks may be getting a bit tired but you don't really have enough miles on them to mandate replacement. That's your call. And mounts don't wear on the newer cars like they did on the older ones. So I'd let them be.

If you want to go in the opposite direction from the H&R kit we have springs that will lift the wagon. Great in snow.

Right now I have right rear spring that's broken, would it be worth while to replace rear shocks as well? Looks like 70% of the work is just replacing the spring.

I'd be just doing the rear as front seem fine, I was looking at blistine TC's.

Sitting at just over 120K.
