UH OH! I got a Touareg!

Hello all! I've been on here a while with my 05 Passat, but now I got a 12 Touareg TDI, so I guess I'm your problem now!!! I'm exactly as my name implies.

I'm buying a 2012 Touareg TDI as my primary commuter and work vehicle. I'm a maintenance and trades guy with an automotive hobby. I have a 32 mile daily commute round-trip on mostly rural highways. I'm also planning on trailering cars fairly regularly. I'm hearing most folks getting about 20mpg towing? I hope so because I didn't want to buy a fat diesel truck that is only good for towing.

Congrats. Yeah, you can post pics. Do a search for the method. Also, you can post here in the photos section for T'regs and use that link to post here. at sea level and towing, 20 MPG is reasonable to expect.

That's exactly my plan. Tune and deletes. Maybe a lift and a fat set of tires too!

Right after I bought this I got a new job and moved to Ventura, CA. Looks like deleting isn't a good option anymore. [emoji24]

Still super happy with it tho. And I just got an FRS 10 Series. [emoji16]
