Jeez, the fryer has migrated to the top of the food list...are you hinting at something, Julie? Craving sweet potato fries, onion rings, potacos, or fried oreos? All of the above?

Who's he??? :p

I have a recipe for beer battered onion rings--from scratch!! I'll be making some of that up! With the requisite onions, of course!

Any special food items (or beer) from WNY to request? I will bring some Zweigle red & white hots and buns-any certain kind of pop to bring, in cans or big bottles? I also think I have an extra turkey-I will post after I check!

Bring something that you like, and enough for like 20 friends. :D You should be all set with that. There will be a grill, but other then that things that are cooked already are best. Deep frying is always an option though....

The advice I'd give is...think basics...
some paper plates...plastic forks...chips...pretzel nuggets...plastic cups...
hot dog buns..or hot dogs...nothing special just good ol'e "fun food" will do nicely...do you have a favorite type mustard..something different I'd care to explore?...that will do just ducky!

woohoo!! those rawk!

someone had better bring a fryer up or there will be much, much sadness....

on a not really (maybe remotely) related note... what kind of items would be needed for batter for say... fried oreos? Should we plan to procure some? ;)

put me in for lots and lots of chips (tortilla, potato, etc) and a couple cases of soda cans (any special requests? diet? non-caff? supercaff? :D)

Solon, we need to see if we can arrange for that yellow wagon.. that was an awesome soda holder!

Yes, please! :)

Veggies & dip, fruit, watermelon, other melons, hummus & chips are all welcome munchies. Early birds might want to figure out who wants to bring coffee and such. Foam cups for hot (krupnick) beverages are also handy. I seem to remember fun with ears of corn some time ago...that's a good item to consider too!

...and somebody better bring Herm that pie! :D
