Does the actuator move the turbo vanes? When you first start the car, it should move roughly an inch, closing the vanes.

Figured this out.

Finally gave a code for overboosting after replacing VNT actuator.

Took 15 minutes to adjust the VNT actuator arm length properly. Drove it and it def had more power than it did but was still very slow.

Turned EGR down in VCDS while I was at it.

IQ was on the upper limit of normal and VCDS already had it adjusted as far as it would allow. Did the hammer mod to get it in the 2 ballpark. MUCH much more power.

Updates to the car here: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?p=5327184#post5327184

All s
Stock VE car likes it around 2.2. If you're fussy you can bump it up some, see if it improves anything.

Messing with EGR adaptation is mostly useless. Look around and you'll find a thread talking about this.

Due to emissions regulations, our ALH's come set very lean, so adding a bit of fuel really does make a positive difference in the way they run. Bigger nozzles are the usual way, but taking the IQ setting down a bit most often helps too.
