1.8T engine light.

I just spent $650 on a clock spring and now my amber Engine light is on.
I will scan it tomorrow but what could be going on? What’s common? Fuel cap, spark plugs. Coil packs etc? 134k miles.

Is this a quiz? What do I get if I guess correctly and win???

"1.8t" in VAG speak could mean one of about a dozen engines, from three completely different engine families, spanning three decades, in several VAG platforms, so the guesses could be quite extensive and numerous.

All we can POSSIBLY provide you with, you already know: OBD works, start there.

Why did you replace the clockspring in the first place? Was the airbag light already on?

Is it the engine light or airbag light that is lit?
