Can some one take a picture of their..

MAF..

can some one do me a favour??

With an iphone or anything.. i need some one to take a picture of their MAF socket so i can see how many actuall connectors are there.

Not the sensor part that is on the airfilter with the 5 pins, but the actuall inside of the socket that attaches it self to the MAF..

I had a look at mine and i can see 5 holes in there, but only 4 out of 5 have a metal connector inside.. and if this is the case it means that one of the connectors in the actual socket has broke off or fallen out..

as it doesn not make sense that i have 5 pins and only 4 sockets are working..

so could some one if they have a second please take a quick snap of the actual inside of the socket that plugs onto the MAF?

i could not find anything on the web..

It is normal for pin 1 to have no wire.

but dam it!! i was hoping that there were 5 of them..

Why then does one pin have no connection??

I have just replaced my engine.. as i lost compression inside and thanks to ebay i got a low mialage one
but.. before i was having loss of power when my foot went down i could feel the car arriving at the 2000 rpm mark and then loose pressure then it comes back again big time then looses again..

having changed already 3 MAF i was hoping it was a socket issue..
But thanks for the picture DCDesign.. i had been looking for that for a long time!
