Evening all,

I have noticed since I've had my 2.0 tdi GT that when I go out to the car in the morning or even when I finish work that the car takes longer to fire than some other times, but what I Have noticed that the outside temperature is always about 12 degrees when this happens, if it's any colder it starts straight away, what I was thinking is the glow plug system on a temperature sensor, so that the engine will get a heat when outside temperature is lower than 12 degrees roughly.

Has any 1 else noticed this same thing.

Barry ??

All I remember on my 2002 Jetta when you put the key in the door to unlock the car, the glow plugs were already started at a certain temperature.
I have no idea how my 2015 Passat works in that regard. Possibly similar.
