Ok guys we're thinking of logo's. If you are interested in designing a logo, please do so, and post it here. We the planner's will vote on it. If we pick your logo, you will recieve a free shirt with your logo on it, just like everyone else will be getting /images/graemlins/grin.gif There may also be another cool prize.

d'oh! Not everyone will be getting a free shirt. But we are trying to keep the cost as low as possible. Rammstein, you're going to have to order 10 shirts for that remark /images/graemlins/grin.gif

We'd like to limit the colors to one or two, plus background (possibly shirt color).

The only thing I'd omit from that picture is the Plymouth, MA.

And yes you need to buy 12 to get one free /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have no expectation of these ideas winning - more to help stimulate ideas or maybe win but there are folks here I know are better at graphics stuff than me

Okay if you read the other post/question you'll know where this idea came from:

and as always if anyone has a suggestion for improving anything I've posted lemme know - i've got these all in Photoshop with a kajillion layers and nothing can't be changed... if you can communicate the idea I can try to get it down in design form...

as per a forum member's suggestion:

i have this one in a 4,000 pixel dimension image that can be used for screening or die-cut printing...

Gary M and his graphics production facility has reviewed this version...

I can clean up any of the other ones (of mine or others) to meet any imaging criteria.... (images posted are reduced in quality for faster loading)

May I suggest, seeing as this is a "car club" and the shirt is to advertise a bunch of "car guys" (and girls) meeting to talk and show "cars", maybe we could incorporate a (call me crazy) car into the design?
Maybe a giant lobster putting the grip on a B-4 in one claw and an A-3 in the other? Maybe simply have a New England designed front with a Passat on the back with TDI club below. Something on that idea.
You say TDI to some people and they have no clue. With some sort of automotive suggestion in the logo design, some may make the connection.
