cjaa race pipe available?

Does anyone make a tdi race pipe? Saw some stuff on fleabay but said was 'aluminum finish" Really just looking for a way to tap in for analog boost gauge but may as well kill two birds with one stone if someone offers a true aluminum race pipe with boost tap. Thanks.

Sounds to me like you may be applying some old school ALH era thinking to what is a VERY different engine.

Besides, you can watch boost (if for whatever reason you like to see that sort of thing) via the DLC with a suitable tool. It is in the data, no special anything required.

If you want to tap into the charge air tract somewhere, for an actual ancient style boost gauge, it would be probably easiest to just remove one of the various plastic pipes and install a nipple in that. Could probably go after one near the bellhousing area or down low in one of the tubes that goes in and out of the charge air cooler.

Well currently you cannot read the boost output with the p3 gauge in combination with owain's great tune. He is looking into that with p3 so that is why I was asking about an old school boost tap.
