Im am trying to compair difrent pump and how they are setup, im am looking for a good pic of the left side of the pump and the front, i tryed searching google but with not to much luck, was hoping you guys could help me out

complete on bench would be best but installed would be fine

I did find a diagram of the Bosch ve pump. Here it is:

While this diagram helped me a lot, I still have some questions regarding the mechanism inside the fuel pump. Especially the left part of the pump which is suppposed to be the low pressure part

yes, thank you but im looking for an accual picture of the pump, pics tell a thousand works so i just need a good pic of one, i will keep on google and see if i can find somthing

That's a clean engine. I guess I've got to go to the carwash some day soon. Nice shots. Working on a how-to? Or just trying to collect the library like dd has?

Those are from that thread in your link.

The einge was recently put in, so it's nice and clean. The accessory mount was sanded and bead blasted, so it's extra clean.

This one is a little older, but you didnt specify. Like the diagram.

Here is a video of one on a bench, sounds like its gunna blow up.
If a picture is worth 1,000 words, a videos gotta be worth at least say 10,000 words ?

ultra thats first pic is a ppump not a ve, and whitedog acualy the second pic was perfect thank you, is that the way most of the front of the pumps look like in a tdi or is that a costom retainer in picture two

Tha long, flat thing running to the lower edge of the picture is just a srewdriver. I used it to hold the hub in position so that the alignment of the TDC slots were shown.

That is what all of the VE pumps look like in the A4 cars.

i knew that was a screw driver but i was refering to the plate being held by the three bolts/screw

That is the drive hub. I installed the bolts so that I wouldn't loose them; the pulley bolts to that. The one came in handy for turning the shaft.
