Brake upgrade.

Does anyone know what MK6 VW came with 272mm rear disks? I just picked up all four corners off of a '13 Beetle R-line and the rears are the same as mine, 253.

The Beetle is based on the NCS Jetta, it is not the A6 or "Mk6" (I hate that) platform.

I honestly do not know which ones get the 272mm rear brakes, though. I know the Jetta GLIs do.

Thanks for the info, do you know if the jetta GLI is beam or Irs? Mine is beam.

All the NCS GLI are IRS, the rest of the NCS got IRS in 2014.

The 2015 Beetle got IRS back IIRC. That may open possibilities for me.

In case anyone was wondering, I picked up a set of front brakes off of a '13 turbo R line (312mm) and the rears on this beam rear suspension is already 272mm so I will be leaving is alone except for installing drilled and slotted rotors.
