Up here in the northland (MN), my last 2 fills have been at unfamiliar stations on road trips. Both times the pump was crazy slow. Took better part of 10 minutes to fill. Heard someone else saying the filter must be mostly clogged.

Wondering if this is most likely a filter issue or something else and if so if I'm running dirty fuel and should plan on changing my filter after this tank.

Only running the stock filter on my b5. Hoping I'm not destroying my injectors.

Thanks for any input

Yes, it's likely the pump's filter is either clogged, or the fuel isn't treated properly. When I encounter a slow pump I move on.

I've only encountered slow pumps in temperatures below -20C. Both times towards the end of the fill-up it started to flow at the regular rate. I just assumed the cold temps made it harder to pump the diesel.

Yes here in Kansas City MO, at Costco will time the diesel pump just to see if it needs a new filter. Yes COLD weather to.
