I'm in the middle of repairing an Audi A6 2.5TDi (2001 Quattro Sport Avant) with the 180bhp AKE engine.
It was cheap as the previous owner drove it through a flood and sucked a load of water into the engine and bent 2 con rods. It still ran! The compression figures were off so I pulled the heads. Both front pistons were a good 4-5mm lower down than the other 4 pistons.
Fortunately it only bent the front two rods, the ones that you can get to without having to pull the upper sump off so I've manage located replacements and it's all back together but... I can't find the torque specs for the con rod bolts anywhere.
Come to think of it... I can't find the specs for the cylinder head bolts either. Does anyone have access to a workshop manual for this engine?
I really only need the torque specs for the con rods and heads. The rest is basic stuff and normal torque specs will do.
I've tried searching on here (and around the net) but come up blank.
