Poke around the forums a bit, and you'll find that some British folks are in the process of making available a stainless-steel 4-branch manifold.

As for that US$475 official VW performance muffler ... BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!

probably not. i have had a few people tell me that when question about warrantee on VW replacement parts (performance parts) they are not covered by the general VW warrantee

do a 2" CAT back and all will be perfect

i am going to look into a stainless intake manifold. but i need to get the stainless intake pipes done first

Re: VW\'s "performance" muffler

It actually says:

Covered by a limited lifetime warranty

Which most would say means, that it's covered by the manufactures warranty until it breaks. Which usually denotes a lifetime of use.
